Yes,
you read correctly. We are proud to announce this
special program to insure, YOU, our customers,
are 100% satisfied with your purchase. We are
taking away any fear you may have in purchasing
our product, and assuming all the risk. What does
this mean? You no longer need to question “Who
is Ultra RC?” “Have you ever seen
this plane before?”
The basics of the program……choose
a product and make the purchase. For 15 days,
from the date of your purchase you have the ability
to open, inspect,

and view the quality of the product.
If, upon inspection, you decide this product is not
for you, simply contact us within the 15 days for a
return authorization to return the product. We will
send UPS to pick-up the product at your “ship
to” address. We will credit you for the entire
purchase price, minus the original shipping to your
destination.
The product must remain in “New – Saleable”
condition. The product must be re-packed in the original
packaging materials and returned in the original shipping
container. All electronic devices are excluded from
this promotion.
Please read our “Return Policy” for the
process of obtaining the Return Authorization, and returning
the merchandise.
Policies:
Credit Card Orders
Ultra-RC accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
American Express, and Pay Pal as payment. When using
your credit card, please provide your credit card billing
address if different from the shipping address and your
daytime/night time phone numbers. If the billing address
does not match that which is on file at the financial
institution or if authorization is not given for any
reason, we reserve the right to cancel the order without
notification.
If you regularly ship orders to an
address other than your credit card billing address,
we ask that you contact your credit card company and
ask them to list the address as an alternate address
on your account. Credit card companies are very willing
to offer this service to you and it could mean less
delays when placing your orders with Ultra-RC and other
companies. Please note that we cannot work out credit
card problems with the financial institution; you must
settle problems with them and reorder once the problem
is resolved.
Parental Verification of Orders
Unestablished customers under the age of 18 must have
a parent or legal guardian present to verify any order
placed by phone before an order will be processed. Also,
our phone representatives may limit the length of inquiry
calls.
Our Personal Check Policy
While we attempt to bank-approve personal checks for
immediate shipment, this may not always be possible
and we may hold your order for 10-12 business days.
To ensure that your order is shipped as quickly as possible,
please send a money order, certified check or use your
credit card. Business checks are treated as regular
personal checks. Customers whose checks are returned
to us because of non-sufficient funds will be charged
$35.00 for handling in addition to the amount of the
check. If it becomes necessary for us to use an attorney
or collection agency, you will be responsible for all
collection fees.
Purchase Orders
We accept most institutional purchase orders
(military, government, schools and universities). You
can either FAX or mail your P.O.; however, if you are
faxing your P.O., we require that you also mail us the
original. A simple application for purchase order customers
must be filled out before we can process your order.
Price and/or Description Changes
All prices, pictures and descriptions on this
site and all other Ultra-RC publications are subject
to change. Ultra-RC maintains no responsibility for
inadvertent spelling or pricing errors. In the event
of typographical errors on our site or in our publications,
Ultra-RC reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders
at its sole discretion. Please contact us within 30
days regarding price or promotion discrepancies.
Limits of Responsibility
We accept no responsibility for crash damage
and/or loss of kits, engines, accessories, etc. incurred
during operation of a radio controlled model. In most
cases it is very difficult or impossible to determine
whether crash damage was actually due to radio equipment
failure or to operator error. Also, we cannot be held
responsible for any purchased components that are incorporated
into radio systems, or problems caused by incompatibility
between radio components, parts, etc., and repairs not
completed by our service center.
Privacy Notice
Ultra R/C and/or its payment services ask customers
to supply various personal data when placing an order,
such as name and address, credit-card information, and
E-mail address. We use this data only for the purpose
of filling an order. We treat this customer information
as private and confidential, and we will not disclose
this information to other individuals or organizations
unless required by law. We will not distribute customer
information to be used in mailing lists, surveys, or
any other purpose other than what is required to perform
our services.
Shipping & Returns:
Return Policy
We offer a return policy for a period of 15
days after your purchase of goods for stock items (i.e.
not custom items). If you receive a shipment and find
you do not want or like the product for any reason,
call us to request a Return Authorization Number. Based
on your verbal warrant that the merchandise is in new
and unused condition, we will assign you a RA number
by phone. Your RA number is valid for a period of 7
days. Once you have the RA number, prepare the merchandise
for return. Include a copy of your sales invoice, along
with all original parts, packaging, and literature for
the item. Attention to packing and cushioning is a must,
as the usable life of a box is shortened each time it
is handled by carriers. Once packaged securely, ship
the merchandise to the address below. Be sure to insure
the shipment adequately against loss or damage.

In order to assign credit for the merchandise
returned, we must receive it in new and salable condition,
accompanied by a copy of the original sales invoice
and with reference to a Return Authorization obtained
by you prior to the return shipment. An open box fee
equal to 15% of the purchase price will be charged on
any opened item, unless the item is defective in the
box, in new and unused condition, and exchanged for
the exact same item. The 15% open box fee will be charged
at the time of refund or exchange. Unauthorized returns
will not be honored, and may be refused, returned at
your expense, or disposed of at will. Returns of partially
built/assembled, used, or damaged goods from the field
will not be honored.
Once received and inspected, we assign
a credit for the invoice price of the merchandise; shipping
charges are not refundable or reimbursable. If you have
conferred with us and selected a product more suitable
to your skills/desires, your credit will apply to the
new shipment; or if you prefer refund, we credit you
by the original method of payment.
Items sold on Clearance are sold "as
is" and are not returnable under any circumstances.
This also applies to certain Daily and Weekly Specials,
as indicated in the text describing specials. Packages
or systems are sold at discounts and are considered
custom orders. They may be returned for store credit
or exchange only.
No returns on any electrical or software related items.
No warranties are expressed of implied. Ultra-RC will
not except the return or exchange of any item if the
UPC code has been removed from the packaging.
Refunds in excess of $150.00 will be
issued by check from the Ultra-RC’s Corporate
Office within 14 days of the return date. Refunds on
purchases made with a credit card will only be credited
to the same card.
Damage in Transit
If you receive a parcel that is damaged, STOP!
If the parcel looks damaged, have the carrier make note
of it and, if at all possible, open and inspect the
shipment in the carrier's presence. If the contents
are damaged in any way, report the damage immediately
to us by phone and we will begin damage claim proceedings.
Do not discard any packaging materials or otherwise
handle or disturb the package. You will receive instructions
on the next step, whether it is on-site inspection or
retrieval by the carrier. Proceeds from the damage claim
filed by Ultra-RC will release the shipment of replacement
merchandise.
Defective Merchandise
If the item you wish to return is inoperable,
but has no apparent damage, it is considered defective.
Defective merchandise may be returned to us as long
as it is in new, unused condition, according to the
terms listed in the paragraphs above. Used, defective
merchandise must be returned directly to the manufacturer
for warranty repair or replacement.
